California

2001 I finally left Texas! And so I traveled to California where I would spend the next 15 years of my life. Southern California is where I landed, my first professional paying job as a professional ballerina at Inland Pacific Ballet in Claremont, California. I was 18 years of age and had gotten my very first apartment with another ballerina, Chris. She was a story of her own... (later to find out I was living with a meth addict to curb her food cravings, keep her weight down and her energy up.) This shall be the first of many stories of living and learning. Don't be naive, keep your eyes and ears open, don't judge; have compassion and patience will take you far in life.

Through my years in Los Angeles I went from a ballerina to a costume designer and later being accepted into The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in DTLA to running fashion production for major fashion labels based in Los Angeles going on to start up Heda Hahn Designs doing custom made dresses that graced the red carpet of the Oscars to major music labels and video production. From dancing to fashion to production and martketing I moved back to my computer roots after a horrific foot injury that left me in bed without an operating "sewing foot."  So, back into Adobe I dove and programming leading to web design integrated with my fashion, sales and marketing background.
